Greetings SY 25-26 JFEC Faculty,

Welcome back to what promises to be an inspiring and impactful new school year at John Francis Education Campus for SY 25-26! We hope your summer brought you rest, relaxation, and the opportunity to peacefully recharge.

As we step into this new year of learning, we return with renewed energy and purpose—ready to build on our strengths and rise to new challenges together. This year, our institutional focus is Accountability and Action: Unlocking Our Potential for Excellence.

Guided by this theme, we will begin the year with clarity and intention. Through “key” initiatives - Strong Start collaboratives, strengthening our Sense of Belonging, encouraging Productive Struggle, and integrating Writing Across All Content Areas—we are committed to turning our goals into real, measurable achievements.

Now is the time for all of us to ground ourselves in the work—putting our learning into practice and taking bold, consistent steps toward meeting our Comprehensive School Plan (CSP) goals. Our target is clear - to move beyond average in Literacy, Mathematics, and Connection to School. With the insights gained last school year, we return better equipped—with deeper reflection, refined systems, greater accountability, and intentional strategies.

As we embark on this journey, let’s remember that learning and growth are a continuous process that require accountability, collaboration, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment. Let this year be a transformative one—driven by our mission, inspired by our vision, and grounded in our belief that "everyone is a learner, and every experience is a learning opportunity."

As we turn the “key” this new school year, we step into it ready to unlock new possibilities together. We are truly excited to see everyone back in the building! Let’s walk into this year prepared to “unlock” meaningful actions together—because at JFEC, we don’t just talk about excellence; we live it!

Let’s ROAR Tigers and achieve greatness together!

Sincerely,

Shanna Young, Principal
